It was just a reliable pick for a weekend in Ogallala with good value for cost. The indoor pool was a nice perk after a long day of travel. For better sleep, try to book a room away from the highway side.

I had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Plus Ogallala Inn. The room featured a fridge and microwave, making my longer visit much more convenient. The space felt roomy and immaculately cleaned. The staff offered friendly and attentive service throughout my stay. I appreciated the free breakfast with plentiful hot options, like scrambled eggs and sausage. The dining area was nice, but it would help to have more accessible seating. Despite that, the location right off the highway was super convenient for dining options. On the downside, the coffee selection could be improved. Everything else met or exceeded my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay with our teenage daughter. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the Oregon Trail. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with plenty of options, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, especially when we needed help with a spilled drink.

Soundproofing left much to be desired. I could hear the family chatting in the hallway like they were in the room with me. The shower lacked proper accessibility despite being labeled as handicap friendly—narrow enough that I struggled to turn around. Breakfast options were limited, missing some staples like waffle toppings, which undercut the overall experience. The parking layout was disorganized, with vehicles blocking exits, making it a bit of a hassle to get in and out with my ride.
